How Raku Matcha collects, uses, and protects your personal information. Last updated 9 May 2026.
When you place an order we collect the information needed to process and ship it: name, email, billing and shipping address, and payment details. Payment details are handled by Shopify Payments and Stripe. We never see your card number.
When you sign up to our newsletter we collect your email address only.
We use your information to: process and dispatch your orders, reply to your questions, send the newsletter you subscribed to, and (anonymously) understand which pages and products people are interested in.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with third parties for marketing.
We use cookies for shopping cart functionality, analytics (Shopify and Google Analytics), and to remember your preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as expected.
We share order details with our shipping carriers (Royal Mail, DHL, UPS) so they can deliver your parcel. We share aggregate analytics with Shopify and Google. We share what is legally required with HMRC and other tax authorities. That is the full list.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, and ask us to stop using it for marketing. To exercise any of these, write to support@rakumatcha.com and we will respond within 30 days.
