FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions, answered.

How long does an opened tin stay fresh?
Sealed and stored in a cool, dark place, an opened tin keeps its brightness for about four weeks. Refrigerate to extend.
Do I need a chasen to make matcha?
It helps. A chasen creates the dense foam that defines a properly whisked bowl. A handheld milk frother is a workable substitute.
What is the difference between Shōgun and Hikari?
Shōgun is bolder, structured, and built to stand up to milk. Hikari is brighter, sweeter, and best as a pure bowl.
Is Shōgun good for matcha lattes?
Yes. It is our recommended latte matcha. The richness holds up against any milk and the flavour lingers.
Where is the matcha shipped from?
We pack and ship every order from our London studio. Royal Mail 48 within the UK. Free on orders over £18.
