How we drink ours
Iced lemon tea matcha
Hikari whisked smooth, sharpened with fresh lemon, lengthened with cold water over ice. Bright and citrus, low effort.
Ingredients
- 3g Hikari matcha
- 60ml hot water, 80°C
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 200ml cold water
- 1 tsp honey or agave (optional)
- Ice
Method
- 01 Sift 3g of Hikari and whisk with 60ml hot water at 80°C to a smooth froth.
- 02 Fill a tall glass with ice and squeeze in the juice of one lemon.
- 03 Add 200ml cold water.
- 04 Pour the matcha over and stir gently.
- 05 Sweeten with a teaspoon of honey if you want it.
The lemon cuts through the matcha without overpowering it. Use less sweetener than you think you need.
