I’ve tried many different powders, but Raku has introduced me to a whole new world. I haven’t purchased from any other brand since! Shoguns taste is prominent. It’s smooth and umami and doesn’t get drowned out when made into a latte. Sadly, some powders are crazy weak and you need to focus and squint when you’re drinking it so you can get a hint of the taste. However, shogun just speaks for itself. Beautiful. Would recommend! Such a great matcha powder! I bought the Hikari too and while I loved that one also, Shogun is exactly what I look for in matcha. It is definitely in my top 5 now, there's so much depth to this one. I love a strong matcha and this one has it all. It's roasty, nutty and holds flavour and sweeteners (I use honey) so well in milk, whereas I find that some matcha powders tend to get a bit lost in milk and so I end up having to use a lot more than I want to. I used 1.5 tsp of Shogun whereas I end up having to use 2 tsp for other brands. It is flavourful and satisfying in an iced latte with low bitt

I bought both Shogun and Hikari and while Shogun is definitely my favourite out of the two as I tend to gravitate towards nuttier, roastier matcha powders, this one is still amazing! It's softer and sweeter than Shogun with mild umami which makes this one lovely as an everyday staple. The colour, like Shogun is a deep vibrant green and the powder sifts and whisks very easily. One small note, I would personally prefer if the powders were stored in a tin with a ring pull as I feel like it gets a bit messy trying to get the powder out of the packet and I end up
