T. Nishikawa& Co., Kyoto.
Founded in Kyoto over a century ago, T. Nishikawa & Co. is one of the few Kiyomizu Ware kilns still firing by hand. The Kayori series uses layered glazes built up over multiple firings; the Red Earth uses an iron glaze fired hot and slow. Each piece is shaped on the wheel and signed at the foot.

How to carefor your bowl.
01 · Hand-wash only
A soft sponge and warm water. No detergent: the glaze keeps its depth better without it.
02 · Dry immediately
Pat dry with a soft cloth and leave the bowl rim-up to finish drying in air.
03 · Avoid sudden heat
Pour hot water onto a warmed bowl, not a cold one, and the glaze will hold for years.
