CARE · 手入れ

How to care for your bowl.

01

Hand-wash only

A soft sponge and warm water. No detergent: the brushwork keeps better without it.

02

Dry immediately

Pat dry with a soft cloth and leave the bowl rim-up to finish drying in air.

03

Avoid sudden heat

Pour hot water onto a warmed bowl, not a cold one, and the glaze will hold for years.

THE MAKER · 作り手

T. Nishikawa& Co., Kyoto.

Made in Kyoto by T. Nishikawa & Co., Inc., a century-old maker of Kiyomizu Ware. Each piece is hand-formed, hand-glazed, and hand-painted.
