Kayori Matcha Bowl – Forest Glaze森
Forest after rain.
A Kayori chawan glazed in deep, mossy green. The colour of pine after rain. Hand-thrown in Kyoto by T. Nishikawa & Co. and fired so the glaze pools into thicker greens at the foot and lifts to a softer celadon at the rim.

Dry immediately
Pat dry with a soft cloth and leave the bowl rim-up to finish drying in air.

Avoid sudden heat
Pour hot water onto a warmed bowl, not a cold one. Sudden temperature change is the only thing that shortens its life.
