A Kayori chawan glazed in soft, dusty green. The colour of an old garden wall in Kyoto. Hand-thrown by T. Nishikawa & Co. and fired with a translucent celadon that reveals the throwing rings beneath.

Pat dry with a soft cloth and leave the bowl rim-up to finish drying in air.

Pour hot water onto a warmed bowl, not a cold one, and the glaze will hold for years.

Made in Kyoto by T. Nishikawa & Co., Inc., a century-old maker of Kiyomizu Ware. Each piece is hand-formed, hand-glazed, and hand-painted.
